Web Based Flow Data
In the spring of 2004, Flow Assessment Services introduced to their customers web based flow data, a password protected web site that allows clients & engineers to access flow data from monitoring sites via the internet. For those meters we download manually, as meter data is collected in the field and electronically delivered to the Bedford facility, it is posted to our server immediately after our extensive QA/QC process. Clients can then access this data for their specific projects and graph or print reports in multiple formats. Some of our clients have opted for wireless data transmission to our server; this data is available in near real-time.
Data can also be exported in several formats including MS Excel. This new system has expedited preliminary submittals substantially. As new data becomes available and is posted to the site, clients are advised via email message as to the updates. Delays in submitting interim reports are now almost eliminated.
